After taking the time to post snippets for your team, it has to be easy to get them
back. We've modeled this search to work how developers think.
Find items faster
When team members post items to your Snippet Garden site - each item is automatically
indexed for the search. Any code you submit or files you upload are searchable via
a simple keyword search. Uploaded text files are opened, and their contents are
also added to the search automatically. The snippet search also provides quick filtering
to select items posted with specific tags or by a certain author. Once you find
something you might need often, mark the item as a favorite and you'll have access
to it within your bookmark list.
Keeping code fresh
We know it's important to keep your snippets up to date. Snippets that have been
eclipsed by newer methods can be quickly archived. Archived items are still accessible
but are clearly marked so users are warned when viewing them.
